Kevin B. Boyd is the Vice President of Project Management for Tribune Company, America’s largest employee-owned media company, operating businesses in publishing, broadcasting and interactive. He joined Tribune Company in 2006 as the leader of Chicago Tribune’s Project Management Office. He is an adjunct professor at Northwestern University teaching classes in Ecommerce.

Prior to joining Tribune, Boyd served first as a PMO Director and then as Director of Quality Assurance and Testing for CNA Financial in Chicago. At CNA, he helped develop a Project Management Office responsible for overseeing a portfolio of projects worth more than $10 million. Boyd previously worked for United Airlines as Director of Ecommerce Systems and spearheaded projects that helped grow United’s ecommerce revenue from $100 million a year to more than $1 billion annually.

He began his media career in radio as a disc jockey for his home town radio station in central Wisconsin. He later joined WTMJ-TV Channel 4, Milwaukee’s NBC affiliate as a News Editor and Assignment Editor.

Boyd holds a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast and Electronic Communication from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisc., and a master’s degree in Communication Systems, Strategy and Management from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.
